DFVA has the following programs for students:

Excellence in Drawing

The DFVA Excellence in Drawing Calendar was initiated to stimulate interest in the arts and to give recognition to the Delaware High school artist. We have concentrated on drawing because drawing is the traditional time-honored method of study that ensures a strong foundation for future development.

Participation is open to Delaware students in grades 9 through 12. Seniors who participate in the calendar program are eligible to apply for DFVA Art Scholarships. Additional awards such as art lessons are also given. Recipients are selected by a panel of professional artists and art educators.
